What exactly is a "non-exclusive licence"?

This means that when you buy the Website Owner's Manual from us, you can do what you want with the copy. You can add bits, delete bits, change things around, add your own branding and contact details, provide information on other services you provide.... whatever you like.

The license is non-exclusive because FX Marketing is selling licences to various website developers, so you're not using it exclusively or uniquely. That's all that that means.

The non-exclusive licence is granted to the company or person who purchases the licence from FX Marketing Limited; it is not transferable. (If your colleagues at another company wish to use the material, they must purchase their own non-exclusive licence.)

What about the photographs in the Manual?

Your non-exclusive licence only covers the copy (words) in the Manual. It does not include the photographs as that would contravene international copyright laws.

We'd therefore suggest that you add your own photographs, that you've either taken yourself, or that you've purchased from photo libraries.

The Word document that you'll receive (so you can edit it), contains just the copy, plus any photographs and diagrams created by FX Marketing.
