Do you have any questions about PayPal?

 

This page is for customers wanting to buy products from the FX Marketing website, but who are having difficulties using PayPal - or just have some questions about the payment service.

 

Some of the most common questions are answered here... if there's anything else that you're not sure about, please email us.

 

Why is it asking me to log in?

 

You probably don't need to log in. The only reason you'd log in is if you have money in a PayPal account, and you'd like to use that rather than a credit card.

 

You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay by credit card.

 

So how do I pay by credit card?

 

Just click the "continue" button in the left hand column on the PayPal page that you're taken to.

 

Which credit cards are accepted?

 

If you are in New Zealand, you can pay with your Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card.

 

If you're outside New Zealand, additional payment options may be available once you select your country in PayPal.

For example, if you're in the UK, you can also pay by Switch, Maestro or Solo.

 

What about Debit cards?

 

Yes, you can pay with Debit cards issued by Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

 

What currency will the transaction be charged in?

 

When you first go to PayPal, the currency will show in NZD (New Zealand Dollars).

If you are outside New Zealand, the currency may be displayed in your own currency. This will then be converted into New Zealand dollars by PayPal, at their own exchange rates. (We have no control over this.)

 

Is PayPal secure?

 

Yes, PayPal is secure. Read here what they say about their security measures.

 

Does FX Marketing keep credit card details secure?

 

FX Marketing doesn't actually get to see any of your credit card details - that's all handled by PayPal. Which means that you can rest assured that your details are safe.

 

Why is it asking me for a shipping address, when the product everything is done by email and internet? Do I get something mailed to me?

 

You're right - the whole transaction, including the shipping, is done by email and internet. The reason we ask for your shipping address is that this way we can capture your contact details, before you're redirected to the FX Marketing website. So if your computer crashes or something goes wrong in the middle of processing your order, we can still contact you.

 

What will show on my credit card statement?

 

Your transaction will show up as "FXMARKETING".

 

I'm in New Zealand, and the price that's showing doesn't include GST.

 

The GST component doesn't show on the inital purchase screen; once you have added your payment information and clicked the "Review Order and Continue" button, you'll be taken to another screen which shows the total amount, with the GST added.
